Bridge City Comics is proud to announce our Naked Boy #2 Release Party on Friday, February 25 from 6pm - 8pm!
Summer is in the air as The Naked Boy saga continues. The Naked Boy grows older as he crosses the continent to kill The Great Bear. In this episode he meets a family of escaping slaves en route to Freedom City. Freedom City has another knickname- The City of Big Men, and the City of Big Men is the heart of a vast military industrial complex. The Governor of Freedom City is going to run for president and The Naked Boy is the key to his campaign.
Ursula and The Great Bear try to find out who is keeping them from contacting The Naked Boy directly. And the Naked Boy continues to lose body parts as he rambles Westward in the exciting second chapter of this American epic.

About Daniel Duford
Daniel Duford is an artist and writer. He makes site-specific wall drawings, paintings, comics and sculpture to tell stories that meditate on myth in the American psyche. His sculptures and drawings have been shown nationally including MASS MoCA, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, The Albuquerque Art Museum, Contemporary Craft Gallery, Portland Institute for Contemporary Art and The Art Gym at Marylhurst University. Duford's illustration and comic work has appeared in Tin House Magazine and the self-published titles, Radio Relay Towers, The Green Man of B Street and We Are on Our Mind (with C.Hollow). His writing has appeared in Parabola, Artweek, ARTnews, The Organ, The Bear Deluxe, Emily Dickinson Award Anthology, Ceramics Monthly, Ceramics: Technical and Ceramics: Art and Perception. My work has been reviewed by The New York Times, The Village Voice, New York Press, The Albany Times Union, The Oregonian, Sculpture Magazine, Art Papers, Artweek, The Willamette Week and the Portland Mercury. Duford teaches at Pacific Northwest College of Art.
